This site is dedicated to a friend of mine. Let’s call him Jerome.

Jerome spent many years of his life diligently compiling jokes, funny links and pictures into a weekly email that he sent out every Friday to a distribution list simply known as ‘Jokes++’. Being on the list was considered an honour, and Jerome spent countless hours devising increasingly degrading initiation tests for those wanting to join.

As an example, one poor soul was forced to spend an entire weekend wearing a Rick Astley t-shirt to gain admission to this elite club. Another had to endure an amorous evening with Graham Norton. *

Still, I digress. After many years of loyal service, Jerome moved jobs to a company where he simply couldn’t spend every Friday compiling lists of jokes, and so Jokes++ was decomissioned.

In his honour, this website aims to continue this dogged hero’s good work and bring humour to the masses on a regular basis.
